After creating an account at Designrr, you need to follow the below mentioned steps to create eBook.

As I have already said, you can convert your existing content into eBooks. So, here, I am going to show you how the content of a blog article can be imported and converted into an eBook.

Here are the steps that you need to follow:

Step 1:

First log in to your Designrr account. After log in, you'll see the Designrr Dashboard as shown in the screenshot below.

Now click on Create eBook.

Since Designrr can import content from multiple sources, you need to select the exact source in this step.

If you're on the Pro Plan, you can import content from the following sources:

  • Import from Blog Post
  • Import from Word Docx
  • Import from Google Doc
  • Start from a Template
  • Start from Scratch
  • Import from PDF
  • Import from Facebook Page
  • PDF to Flipbook

If you need to import content from sources like YouTube, Podcast or a video, you'll need to upgrade to higher-tier plan.

Since we're going to use content from our blog article, you need to select the Import from Blog Post option.

Step 2:

After selecting the option - Import from Blog post/s or URL, you'll need to enter the URL of your blog article. See the below screenshot.

Enter the URL as shown in below screenshot. Please remember that Designrr allows to import content from multiple URLs.

So, if you need to create eBook by adding content from more than one blog article, you just need to enter the URL and select Fetch. Then repeat the same process for the next URL.

See the image given below where I have entered the URL of one of my blog post. After entering the URL, you need to click on the Fetch button.

After fetching the URL, click on the Next button.

In the next step, you will need to select a template for your eBook.

Step 3:

Designrr offers lots of pre-built templates with unique designs in different categories like - advertising, beauty, blogging, business, copywriting, digital marketing, eCommerce and more. 

These templates are fully customizable which means you can change or edit each elements of the templates - font, background, margin, padding, etc.

In this step, you need to select one of the template that suits your requirement. Before choosing any template, make sure that the page size of your eBook is right.

By default, the page size of each templates is set to Letter.

If you want to change the size of template, select Page Size from the top right and select the appropriate size - Letter, A3, A4, A5, Legal, Square.

Now select the template of your choice. When you hover the mouse over any template, you will see two options - Use and Preview.

If you want to preview any template, just select the Preview option. To start editing any template, select the Use option.

When you select any template, Designrr Editor will open (see the below screenshot).

Below I have highlighted some of the important features of the Designrr Editor:

  1. At the center, you can see template you have selected for your eBook. First is the Cover Page followed by the inner pages of the eBook.
  2. On the left side, you get the customization panel with all the important editing options to make changes to your eBook which I will explain in much detail below.
  3. On the right side, you'll see the Navigation panel. You can easily move from one page to another here.
  4. On the bottom left, Designrr contains important features like Save, Undo, Redo and Publish. On the bottom left of the editor, it contains the impo aveUndoRedo and Publish option.
  5. Bottom right of the editor contains the chat icon which can used to contact the Designrr support team.

Step 4:

In this step, you need to edit your template. Every thing from the font color, font-size, padding, margin, background color, border can be customized here.

Other customization include - header & footer, table of content, page number, layouts, artwork & shapes and more. You can also add your own images, audio, clickable links, video to your eBook.

If you don't like the template of your eBook, you can even change your layout here.

Step 5:

When you've finished editing your eBook and are ready to download it, select the Publish button available at the bottom left of the editor.

When you're ready to download your eBook, select the Publish button. After selecting the Publish button, Designrr will allow you to select the following format for your eBook - PDF, Kindle ePub Export, EPUB for e-readers, Flipbook, Export HTML and Live eBook.

Now you need to enter the Title of the eBook and Author Name. You can also choose the option - Add description, to add some information about the eBook.
